Monday

Sunday evening we found out that our dear friend Miss Anne Bennet had been put on bedrest for a week due to complications with her pregnancy. I called and arranged that Rachie and I would go over and ship shape things up and cook a few meals. So Monday morning after running to the store, we drove over to Miss Anne's where we found her patiently lying on the couch with her little boys around her. The poor dear had survived on hot dogs cooked by her loving husband Mr. B; so I cooked them ups some Curry Chicken and rice. After lunch Mr. B and Gavin headed off for Macon Ga to visit a friend leaving little Jamin with us girls. Rachie scrubbed the house whilst I made lasagna and Jamin helped me out in the kitchen with brownies. After various ingredients such as the cocoa and chocolate chips were gathered up off the floor from where they were miscarried from their respective bags, (LOL) we finally got the pan into the oven and the house was filled with the wonderful aroma of Chocolate!!
Rachie wasn't feeling well so she joined miss Anne on the couch and watched P&P! It's really sad but we girls have almost got that movie memorized, and as I went around the house cleaning I pretty much quoted the whole thing. LOL. After watching me clean for awhile, Jamin decided to give me a hand in the bathroom. He jumped into the tub volunteering to scrub it for me, I could not refuse his generous offer and I hesitantly handed him the sponge and watched as he doused himself with water and comet. He eventually had it squeaky clean although I think he scrubbed more dirt off of his person than the walls. After the bathroom, I headed to the kitchen to mop the floors. Still soaking wet from his tub venture, Jamin graciously offered to help me with the floors. I gently assured him that I could clean the floor myself and set off with a rag and a sink full of water. After scrubbing on my hands and knees (I love cleaning the floors by hand every now and then) I stood up to scan my handy work. Noticing a dirty spot in the middle of the floor I dropped the rag and started mopping with my foot; the next moment I was laying flat on my back laughing hysterically.
