Friday before the party!

Friday before the party, we ran around tying up last minute events, making a cake, and scrubbing up the house. Mama and Mrs. Vawser had come home with 4 buggy loads of groceries which were now laying all over the floors, under the tables, and on the porches. LOL. That evening Matthew and Andrew gave us a concert until the Mortons walked in!!! They were soon followed by the Campanas and we fed everyone and then got in the bed. We were all spread out everywhere, on the floors and couches, the guy's camping outside in tents.
The next morning we girls started cooking up a storm!!! Seanna and I had made banana bread earlier so we cut that up and I made two batches of my southern homemade biscuits!! Then poor dear Dorothy fried 5lbs of bacon whislt we other girls made 66 eggs and cut up strawberries.
We set the dining room table, the outside table, and then tables in the yard!! Whew! weren't we a crowd already!
