Saturday Morning

Saturday morning we mourned as Mama and all of the little boys headed off the Atlanta, Daddy to work, and Mr. and Mrs. Pethtel with the little girls to visit a few friends. We girls stood and watched as the three vehicles left together quoting one of our favorite lines, "Wait, it's tradition! they always wave at the gate!" We then returned to the house to make spanish rice and beans, and 4 chocolate pies (speaking of which, I'm getting to that recipe girls!) Alan joined us girls for lunch and then we girls headed off into the woods to the creek! Rachel had a new swimming hole which turned out to be quite nice and we girls enjoyed a few hours of jumping off the banks into waist deep murky creek water. Shrieking with laughter the girls would hang upside down from a log over hanging the creek until, laughing so hard from various tickelings; they would fall complink into the water!LOL. What a splendid time we had! We finally drug our sandy bodies back up to the house just as everyone returned home.

Isn't it though? We have a creek (it's really more of a stream),
and after a big rain, we like to play in it. We don't get in too much in the summer, though. There's too many snakes around here. I very much dislike snakes!
I like to play in big creeks.

You might want to check your spelling on that last one honey.

LOL, Indeed girls. That was pretty funny about the spider and log falling off expedition. It's a good thing Alan wasn't there. Something about guys, and screaming girls. He just can't stand it when we scream! Ha, but he bears it so well "...for he has the greaterst patience in the world"
Love ya Charlie:)

oopsy! LOL. I always blame my bad spelling on the fact that I lived in a spanish speaking country for 7 years of my life; and that I have studied several other languages. LOL. Thanks!
