A relaxing day at Green Acres
Today after a long and pleasant nap, I relinquished Mama from watching the boys and settled down in a chair to read "Tomboy Bride" an interesting story about a young women and her life as she traveled with her husband around the country back in the early 1900s. It is a wonderful true account of a women's devotion to her husband!
I was soon captivated by the little boys who were playing in their tree house. Their activities consisted of hoisting water from the pool via a pulley system and buckets for the purpose of throwing in down upon the dogs and sheep below. A mud battle shortly ensued and then Rachie and I took them for a walk around the gokart trail. We ended our day with feeding the lambs, looking at our annoying catipillars which have eaten my mothers passion vine, picking a few muscadines, and then spraying the boys with the water-hose. The last event was very amusing to be sure. Now with a nice cup of Tea and Selah I am trying to catch everyone up upon our going'ons. The little Bennet boys are still with us and we are having the added pleasure of 4 little boys around the house. Miss Annie will be in the hospital until Friday and little Camdin will be residing there until the doctors dismissal. Yesterday and today Daddy and Arman have been extending our fence to keep the sheep in the 'back' yard so that we may enjoy our flowers and gardens.
