Back in the 1860s, Little Women

Our old tyme friend Miss Rodi, came over on my birthday to help celebrate! We started our days activities off with of course, a Tea! After this enjoyable event, Rodi told the girls stories whilst I helped to ferry our various vehicles to the shop. When I had returned, we girls gathered in the den where we turned off all the lights and lit candles and oil lamps. We then played and sang every song that we could remember until Daddy came home and played Dooley and The Bonnie blue flag for us!!!!!!!We sang until we were hoarse and the floor covered in candle wax; but oh it was so much fun! We then gathered around Rodi and her note book which contained her script of Little Women for a play that she is in. I played the part of Meg, Rachie of Beth and ALL the male characters, Bethy of amy, and Rodi as Jo. Then we watched old plays that we participated in when we were younger. Oh what fun to watch old friends from 5 years back. LOL. The next day after lunch we had a rather, umm... amusing game of scrabble!
Thanks Rodi dear for taking the time to visit with us girls! It was fun to step back into 1860 again!
